The Role
33Across is seeking a senior product leader to drive product strategy and development in the area of online addressability. Addressability is a strategically important area for us as we adapt our publisher-focused products and solutions to industry shifts in response to emerging privacy regulations and browser restrictions. You will have the opportunity to define product strategy in the very early stages of this initiative and lead product development as we build out and scale our offerings in this area. This is a high-profile role, both internally and externally, and you will be driving thought leadership in the industry while leading product development in this area.
You Will
  • Lead product strategy and development, in close collaboration with executive leadership, in the area of online addressability, as we navigate the industry’s shift away from third-party cookies to more privacy-friendly alternatives.
  • Define scope of enhancements to current and new future products by conducting market research, return on investment analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • Manage the entire product development lifecycle (ideation, design, prototyping, development, rollout, and support), working with other product managers and the engineering team.
  • Define product positioning, key benefits and target customers, and work with marketing and sales to define the go-to-market strategy.
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for 33Across’ addressability product offerings.
  • Engage with forums, organizations and companies in the media technology space, keeping up with industry trends, potential partnerships, and competitive intelligence.
You Have
  • 10+ years of product management experience in digital media, ideally with an advertising technology or data management company.
  • Deep knowledge of the online media landscape, specifically as it relates to digital identity, audiences, and privacy.
  • Strong technical background with experience working in a lean and agile product development environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field. MBA preferred.

The Role
33Across is seeking an experienced product manager to drive new product development to expand its data offerings. For more than 8 years, 33Across has been creating advanced data products (raw data in real-time and batch, audience segments, etc.) for Fortune 1000 brands. With our code running on more than a million sites, our publisher network yields more than 30 billion intent and interest signals from content consumption, copy and paste sharing, search keywords, and social behaviors. Our data management platform compiles and analyzes data from over 1.5 billion users monthly. You will be helping us manage our data products and platforms as we grow our revenues while navigating changes in a rapidly evolving industry.
You Will
  • Manage the entire product development lifecycle for our data products, working with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Define requirements for enhancing our current and new future data products and platforms by conducting market research, product ideation, and data-driven decision making.
  • Be the product owner in our agile development process, creating feature requirements and user stories for a globally distributed engineering team, with support from a scrum master and engineering management.
  • Work with marketing and sales to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.
  • Become an expert on 33Across’ data management platform, serving as the internal and external expert for the product offerings.
  • Stay current with products and solutions in the digital data and media space, industry trends, potential partnerships, and competitive intelligence.
You Have
  • 4+ years of product management experience involving data products and platforms, ideally with an advertising technology or data management company.
  • Experience working in a lean and agile product development environment.
  • A high level of proficiency with data analysis with a strong working knowledge of SQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business or a technical field.

The Role
We are seeking a senior level Engineer to extend our current platform and expand its offerings and further empower our customers. You will have the opportunity to work on our core ad exchange product suite that handles Billions of requests/day, and processes Terabytes of data/hour. Our innovative platform works with all major advertising exchanges and demand partners, to help thousands of publishers monetize their content with the most relevant ads.
You Will
  • Build, enhance, and maintain our Exchange suite of applications, including ad servers, event handlers, dashboards, workflows, API’s, micro-services, and data processing systems.
  • Integrate with our SQL/BigData/NoSQL backend infrastructure (including partners) to store and pull data that feeds insights and reports.
  • Work closely with other developers, designers, quality assurance and operations engineers, and product managers to develop and support new and existing systems.
  • Become an expert on 33Across’ exchange platform, serving as the internal and external expert for the product offerings.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization, while working with a globally distributed team.
You Have
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of development experience with Java, and related technologies.
  • A high level of comfort with Linux utilities and CLI.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (we use Aerospike, ClickHouse, Redis, Postgres, MySQL).
  • Experience developing and supporting high-availability, high-performance web applications.
  • A proven track record of successfully translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in a lean and agile product development environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Strong design skills, with a passion for building large scale, high-performance products, and a desire to learn from, mentor, and teach your peers.
Bonus Points
  • If you have experience with Hadoop tech stack: HDFS, Pig, Hive, MapReduce, Spark.
  • Familiarity with working on frontend frameworks (we use React UI, Marionnette).

The Role
33Across is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our scrappy and talented IT/SysAdmin/TechOps team. We have a hybrid production infrastructure with servers in the cloud as well as on-prem. Our web front end stack is built using Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Tomcat, HAProxy, and NGINX. Some of the technologies we use in the backend include MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop, HBase, Pig, Hive, Flume, Kafka, Docker, and Salt.
You Will
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and support:
    • Remote CentOS 7/8 servers, including their state/configuration using Salt
    • Multiple Hadoop clusters
    • VMware servers and VM’s
    • DNS and CDN
    • Meraki devices for firewalls, vpn, office wireless network, and some Cisco switches
    • 3rd-party employee tools/applications (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
  • Work with developers to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and services
  • Evaluate new technologies (cloud, open source) from time to time and recommend their adoption within the organization
  • Help secure our infrastructure from internal vulnerabilities and external threats
  • Share after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities with others on the team
  • Provide helpdesk support for Mac and Windows laptops for our US-based employees
  • Track hardware inventory and asset allocation
You Have
  • 5+ years of experience managing production applications/services running on Linux
  • Some experience providing helpdesk support for Mac and Windows laptops
  • Experience with office networking using Meraki or Cisco hardware
  • Comfortable with one or more scripting languages (Bash, Perl, etc.)
